Introduction to Online Analytics

This lunch time seminar will introduce participants to different “analytics” or metrics around the tools they use for online communications. View the Analytics training materials here.

Many organizations are using online communications tools but do not keep track of the easily accessible metrics that let them know whether or not they are making progress on their goals. Analytics can be a scary topic for anyone having to answer the questions “is this working?”

From a web site to a Twitter tweet, there are ways to track the efficacy of your online communication efforts. We’ll look at the metrics you can start collecting from your organization’s web site, email blasting tool, Facebook and Twitter accounts.

This training will give organizations a process around tracking progress toward their communications goals by examining analytics data around the tools they are using.

Bring your questions, experiences and tips as we explore the numbers and graphs side to the world of online communications!
